Zendaya teases the upcoming euphoria particular with the primary poster

Also, the poster appears to have a new title for the episode.

We’re just over a week away from the first of two euphoria special episodes designed to bridge the gap between Season 1 and Season 2 of the Emmy-winning HBO series Zendaya as relaxing teenage drug addicts Rue Bennett. While we already know a few details about the first episode, titled Trouble Don’t Last Always, and revolve around Christmas, we’re finally taking a look at the first poster that Zendaya posted on her Twitter account this afternoon.

The poster is a slightly blurred shot of Zendaya as Rue. The emphatic slogan “This Is Not Season 2” is centered in bold lettering at the bottom. What is really interesting about the poster is that it seems to reveal a new title for the episode. According to the poster, “Trouble Don’t Last Always” now seems to simply be called “Part 1: Rue”. Fortunately, it still keeps its December 6th premiere date, so fans won’t have to wait any longer to see it, even though there has apparently been a title change.

Here is the official plot synopsis (obviously with a possibly outdated title):

After Jules was left at the train station and relapsed, the first special episode, Rue (played by Emmy® winner Zendaya), follows as she celebrates Christmas. The episode titled Trouble Don’t Last Always Always, written and directed by series creator Sam Levinson, also features Colman Domingo, who appeared in the first season.

Details on the second special episode, including the premiere date, will be announced in the near future. You can check out the full poster below. To learn more about Euphoria, click here to read our interview with Sydney Sweeney.
