Watch: President Biden holds the first press conference since he took office

President Joe Biden will face the media on Thursday and chair his first official press conference since his inauguration on January 20. The scheduled start time is 1:15 p.m. / ET – scroll down to see a livestream of the event, which will be held in the East Room of the White House.

Biden is expected to address a number of fire and topical issues, including immigration (particularly the precarious situation on the U.S.-Mexico border) and gun control following the mass shootings at a Colorado grocery store this week 10 people left, dead (including a police officer) at the barbecue and the latest information on COVID-19 vaccine adoption faster than expected.
