WandaVision hits tonight’s show as Jimmy Fallon travels through TV days

It looks like Studio 6B is now in The Hex.

Host Jimmy Fallon and WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen teamed up on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show a tribute to the Disney + series – great news for those of us who wanted to see Olsen play some retro characters before the series ended.

In the sketch below, Fallon goes through different eras of late night television, much like in WandaVision, with Olsen coming to him every time to promote her latest project. (Does anyone know if The Boxcar Gals and the Fellas are streaming from Tulum somewhere?) But as The Tonight Show moves through each decade, Olsen becomes increasingly suspicious of the circumstances of these interviews: why aren’t she and Fallon sitting in the same room together? ? And if Fallon doesn’t have a live audience right now, where does all the laughter come from?

Fallon may not mourn his synthetic spouse, but it seems he has reasons of his own for trapping The Tonight Show in an old school bubble – and just like an episode of WandaVision, the sketch ends on a major twist.

On Wednesday’s live version of the Tonight Show, Olsen appeared in support of WandaVision’s upcoming (series?) Finale, which will end on Friday March 5th. Check out FallonVision in its entirety below:
