TI and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris are under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department on new sexual assault allegations, reports The Daily Beast. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Pitchfork that an investigation is ongoing but did not provide any further details.
A woman, whose identity was kept anonymous, filed a police report with two LAPD officers in April. In the report audited by Pitchfork, the woman claimed she was taken to a hotel room by TI and Tiny with a drink she believes “most likely drugged,” and claimed TI went with her without her his toes penetrated her vagina consent. She claimed the alleged attack took place in 2005. The Daily Beast also shared details of a second alleged police report filed in Las Vegas earlier this month.
When attorney Steve Sadow reached out for comment, he made the following statement on behalf of TI and Tiny:
The Harrises have not spoken to or contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD), or any law enforcement officer from any other jurisdiction in the country. Even assuming the story in the Daily Beast is close to being accurate, it appears that the LAPD prosecutor has again chosen to remain anonymous, thereby preventing us from being able to refute or refute their allegations – or them even investigate. Although this is the first time we have the name of a “prosecutor” who allegedly filed a police report with LVPD, we meanwhile have absolutely no details about their claim.
The woman who filed the Los Angeles police report is represented by attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn. Blackburn sent letters to US law firms in February on behalf of eleven people who claimed they had been “victimized” by the Harrises for a criminal investigation. The Harrises have consistently denied the allegations against them through their lawyer Sadow. In March, the Harrises were sued by Sabrina Peterson for defamation, invasion of privacy, deliberate infliction of emotional distress, and more.
