Rapper NBA YoungBoy was arrested and taken into FBI custody on Monday.
YoungBoy (real name Kentrell Gaulden) had a pending arrest warrant, so the police tried to overtake his vehicle that morning. Police said YoungBoy’s vehicle would not pass and police tracked the vehicle before YoungBoy got out of the vehicle and tried to escape on foot.

Cops used a K-9 dog to track him down. Police also reportedly found a gun in the car but did not say whether the gun belonged to the rapper. It’s also unclear what the rapper’s arrest warrant was for.
Last month it was reported that YoungBoy was the subject of federal investigations following his September 2020 arrest on drug and firearms charges. At the time, police officers responded to reports that a large group of people were brandishing guns while they were making a music video. 16 people were arrested. Drugs and guns were found on the set, but YoungBoy claimed none of them was his.
He was released on a $ 75,000 loan.
