Maybe not. When it comes to large franchises like the Star Wars saga and Marvel, the risk of spoilers is a huge concern. A new movie could make billions of dollars at the box office, with most of the money coming from fans eager to see what happens next. For example, if an actor auditioned for the next Marvel movie and not got the role, he would still have access to what is usually a top secret script. Emilia Clarke, who played Qi’ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story, would have found out a spoiler or two from her audition and passed it on to the press. I don’t think they would, of course, but it’s a possibility that studio managers need to consider.
