The man accused of murdering aspiring hip star Pop Smoke went live on Instagram yesterday and appeared to be bragging about the murder, MTO News learned.
Pop Smoke was killed on February 19, 2020 after being shot twice during a home invasion in Hollywood Hills, California. Police accused two men and two teenagers of killing the emerging Brooklyn artist.
Corey Walker, 19, and Keandre Rodgers, 18, have been charged with murder.
According to the complaint, the defendants may also have gang ties.
The other two defendants, aged 17 and 15, were charged with murder and robbery in a juvenile court.
Last night one of the alleged killers, Corey Walker, visited IG Live – and started posting gang signs on IG while his fans and friends said “F * ck Pop Smoke” in the comments.

According to the authorities, four hooded men entered Pop Smoke’s home at around 4:30 a.m. on February 19. One of them wore a ski mask and a pistol.
Police received news of the home invasion from a phone call from the east coast. Police arrived at home six minutes later and found Pop Smoke with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. On February 21, the Los Angeles County Coroners’ Division announced that the cause of death for Pop Smoke was a gunshot wound to the upper body
This is not the first time the alleged killers have appeared on IG Live. Shortly after his arrest, the other man accused of killing Pop Smoke – Keandre Rodgers – went live. Look:
