TSR notes that Pharrell revealed that his cousin was one of the two people killed in the Virginia Beach shootings.

“As previously reported, #DeshaylaHarris, who appeared on season 17 of The Bad Girls Club, was identified as one of the people who died after being hit by a stray ball,” noted TSR.
Donovon Lynch was identified as the other person who passed away. TSR also cites information from wavynews10 and states that one of the officers was involved in the shootings.
It also appears that officers on the 300th block on 20th Street came into contact with Donovon while responding to the incidents in the area.

According to TSR reports, Donovon was shot dead by officers after they claimed he was “brandishing a gun when police came into contact with him”.

‘The loss of these lives is a tragedy beyond measure. My cousin Donovon was killed during the shootings. He was a bright light and someone who always showed up for others. It is important that my family and the families of the other victims receive the transparency, honesty, and justice they deserve. Virginia Beach is the epitome of hope and tenacity, and as a community we will get through this and come out stronger, ”he wrote.
Someone said, “My deepest condolences, I am so terribly sorry. I pray for you and your family and the victims and theirs. ‘
Another follower wrote: “I’m very sorry baby, I thought of you when I heard about the shootings because I know how much you love Virginia Beach! This is all the more devastating since one of the victims is your cousin! You and your family have my condolences ❤️🙏🏾 ‘
