HBO Max has announced a new documentary series about Nicki Minaj. According to a press release, the six-part show will “explore Nicki’s brilliant creative mind and tell the story of her personal and professional journey.” The series is directed by Michael John Warren, who said in a statement:
I think it’s great that this series not only offers a comprehensive insight into one of the most famous musicians of our generation. It also shows the brave woman behind the artist Onika. I believe we can all learn a lot from their remarkable professional and personal lives. It is an honor to be entrusted with this dynamic story.
