Kelly Clarkson’s estranged husband, Brandon Blackstock, seeks assist for kids and spouses
Kelly Clarksonis a complicated separation from Brandon Blackstock continues.
E! News can confirm from a source that Blackstock is seeking $ 436,000 monthly in child and spouse assistance as part of the couple’s ongoing divorce proceedings.
That amount of support was cited in court documents filed on Monday November 30th, such as the E! News. Entertainment Tonight and People also have the documents, and both outlets confirm that number.
Clarkson filed for divorce from her husband in June after nearly seven years of marriage. On November 19, the 38-year-old singer temporarily gained custody of the couple’s two children, daughter River Rose (6) and son Remington Alexander (4).
A family insider previously told E! News that the verdict “is not a big deal” as “the kids in Los Angeles are in school and this arrangement was meant to keep the kids’ routine in school”.
