Kate Middleton exudes warmth and gratitude in a new message in which they thank the British for coming together and sharing their pictures and stories about life under lock and key.
A video of the 38 year old Duchess of Cambridge was posted on her and Prince WilliamOn the Instagram page from Sunday 15th November. In the clip, Kate thanked the people who participated in her and the National Portrait Gallery’s Hold Still community photo project.
“Just wanted to thank everyone who submitted a picture to Hold Still,” she said with a smile. “I started the project with the National Portrait Gallery back in May because I wanted to find a way for everyone to share their stories and experiences with Lockdown. We loved the response to the project and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone of the 31,000 people who submitted a picture. “
The judges selected 100 photos from all submissions to be shown in a nationwide outdoor exhibition. The pictures included photos of key workers in full PPE and women wearing surgical masks and meeting their babies for the first time after birth.
