It’s raining reunions, like Jon Hamm signed up to play in his next film mad Men Co-star John Slattery, in which Hamm will work together with his former team 30 skirt flame Tina Fey. Of course, Slattery was also a guest at 30 Rock and performed alongside Fey on Amazon Modern love.

Deadline reports that Slattery’s new film is the dark comedy Maggie Moore (s)who follows the police chief in a quiet Arizona town who is suddenly confronted with the murders of two women of the same name.

It’s unclear whether Hamm will play the film’s chief of police or the villain, a local businessman who wants to get rid of his wife, but I would take the cop as this character starts a flirtation with the businessman’s lonely neighbor (Fey) while he’s investigating the bizarre crimes, and Hamm and Fey had good romantic chemistry at 30 Rock.

On the other hand, as well as the angular jaw Hamm is for the protagonist, he also played cult leader Richard Wayne Gary Wayne in Fey’s Netflix series Unbreakable Kimmy SchmidtSo you never know with him.

The Maggie Moore (s) script is from Paul Bernbaum (Hollywoodland) and Contentious Media have agreed to fund the film that Slattery will produce together Cary Woods (Scream) and Vincent Newman (We are the millers) as well Ross Kohn and Nancy Leopardi.

Slattery was previously the director of the 2014 crime thriller God’s pocket With Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Turturro, Richard Jenkins and Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks. The film received mixed reviews from critics, but it got Slattery one more shot behind the camera, and its latest sounds sound like a moderately amusing indie-style Latest news in Yuba CountYY

Hamm has had a strong comedic twist Curb your enthusiasmas well as the film Wild mountain thymewho paired him with Emily Blunt. He will soon be seen across the street Tom Cruise in the Top Gun: Outsider. In the meantime, Fey recently made one of the leading points at Pixar souland she returns to co-host with the Golden Globes Amy Poehler On Sunday evening. Maggie Moore (s) is definitely emerging as an indie to watch out for and that is exactly what I intend to do as production gets closer.
