Singer Jeremih sat down for an interview asking about his recovery after testing positive for COVID-19.
“What I can say is, man, it’s definitely real,” he said during an appearance in Sway’s Universe. “I didn’t take it for granted.”
“And to be honest … I’m a living, walking testimony. I’ve been really bad the last month and a half that I’ve been there. You know, I don’t even remember the day I went in.” It was so confused. “
He continued, “I had the tube in my throat for about a week and a half,” he said. “I was really like in a dream. And I’m not going to lie, I woke up about twice and all I remember is just a white light.”
Jeremih told Sway that he was also diagnosed with multisystem inflammatory syndrome, a disease he described as a “rare cause and effect of COVID”.

“All of my organs became infected. My heart went out, stopped beating, and started beating irregularly. My kidneys were going out. My liver started … bad.”
