Youngberg and Angones had the following to say about their final:

“It was an absolute honor to witness three seasons of Derring-Do stories with the Duck Family about bad luck and luck. Ever since Carl Barks took a goofy screeching duck from a funny animal cartoon and sent him on a hunt for pirate gold , These characters were part of an ever-evolving legacy of invention and reinvention. Our goal is to honor all of the things we have loved about ‘DuckTales’ since we were children, and new bits of that legacy for families around the world Introducing the world In this way, our outstanding crew, incredible cast, and endless supportive fans have become family themselves. And it was a great pleasure to solve puzzles and rewrite history with them. ”
