Deadmau5, Jauz, Kayzo, out of mana and extra Bear in mind i_o after the information of his loss of life

The sudden and tragic news of i_o’s death today shook many fans and friends.

Contemporaries such as Kayzo, Jauz, Sullivan King and others who visited the Icon Collective in Los Angeles with him left particularly warm messages in his memory, as well as frequent collaborators and partners No Mana and Deadmau5. Ray Volpe, Subtronics, and others have also made posts in his memory, although they may not have worked together as much.

RIP Garrett.

I will miss you my mate, it has been a real pleasure working with you and watching you succeed. May you find peace and let your music live on forever.

Today I lost my goddamn brother. My best friend. The person I trusted more than anyone when it came to music.

Today the world has lost an incredible person and one of the most visionary, ingenious producers of our generation.

We love you so much RIP Garett Falls Lockhart

Without Garett there are no wise men or bad guys. He sat with me throughout the production of this album, giving me the instructions and guidance that no one else could have. The album belongs to him as well as mine. I am forever in his debt

– JAUZ (@Jauzofficial) November 24, 2020

Watching Garett become @i_oofficial and finally fully appreciate his talents is one of the proudest moments of my career, despite having absolutely nothing to do with it. He was going to take over the damn world

– JAUZ (@Jauzofficial) November 24, 2020

I would like to thank @ mau5trap, @Armada, @astateofhalil and his manager Roger for trusting Garett and making his dreams come true. They all let him be exactly as he was and allowed him to be the most musically productive he had ever been in his life

– JAUZ (@Jauzofficial) November 24, 2020

I also want to say thank you to @ deadmau5 for really being Garett’s number one inspiration. To welcome him to the Horde, to tour with you and get the recognition from you that he wanted so badly but would never admit. You really changed his life

– JAUZ (@Jauzofficial) November 24, 2020

Seeing so many fans, artists and more come together to remember Garett and to show how many people he has affected and how far his music goes in such a short amount of time really makes me smile. That will keep him alive forever ????

– JAUZ (@Jauzofficial) November 24, 2020

fuck no no no. I remember the first time I met you in the icon collective lobby and it was your first day of school there. We talked about how we both got out of the sport to make music and how excited we were for this trip. Rest in Peace Garrett ???? @i_oofficial

I’ve known you since I was a kid. We have built our careers side by side for so many years. We haven’t talked as much in the last couple of years, but we spent about 4 years together almost every day. I’m just so sorry we didn’t have time to do this again

– Sully (@SullivanKing) November 24, 2020

This year it’s getting worse and worse.

Rest in peace i_o

Sleep calmly. I will miss you brother

This one sucks badly. Garrett was one of the first producers I met while teaching at Icon Collective. One of the most talented producers and a great guy. RIP Garrett ????
