Ben Affleck says he needed to “redo” it after a sequence of unlucky occasions in Hollywood
Ben Affleck has been in the spotlight since he and Matt Damon wrote the script for the Oscar-winning film Good Will Hunting, which was picked up by Robin Williams after years of swimming around and nobody cared about it.
Affleck and Matt Damon, who (with a few exceptions) rarely appear on screen together, have been friends ever since. Affleck, however, had a more tumultuous time in the spotlight due to his relationship with Jennifer Lopez and then Jennifer Garner.
As fans of the actor know, he and Garner were married for almost a decade and had several children together. However, when their marriage finally fell apart (sources say this was due in part to his drinking problem) the ex-couple became the target of vicious media headlines.
Additionally, the lackluster response to his movie Batman vs Superman put even more pressure on him to get back on track. Ben said in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he went through a lot to get back into the good parts of Hollywood.
For a while it seemed like it wasn’t going to happen to Affleck, but he slowly rose from the ashes. On the other hand, if Affleck’s romantic life is an indication of anything, things must be going well. These days, Ben is dating actress Ana de Armas, and the couple have been seen together in public many times in the last few months before and after the pandemic.
Ana and Ben, for example, have been seen walking their dogs and in more public situations. In other news, Ben recently investigated the making of one of his films, Justice League, and explained what it was like to make a brutal movie, but his kids loved him, or at least the fact that he could use the costume.
Ben said he wore the suit to his son’s birthday party, which made it worth every second. According to another report, Ben will appear again as Bruce Wayne in “The Flash,” which will hit theaters in 2022.
According to reports, Robert Pattinson, the Twilight alum, will play the role of Caped Crusader in the 2022 film The Batman.
