This week’s 90 Day Fiance episode featured a disturbing scene in which Stephanie Davison becomes very emotional after her Belizean friend Ryan Carr lied to her about using a condom during sex.
After the episode aired, an Instagram comment was posted by Stephanie stating that she was raped and plans to sue TLC.
“Those clusters that work for this company will wish they never betrayed me,” wrote Stephanie. “Not only was I raped while filming, but I was manipulated to keep filming after asking to be removed from the set after being bitten by sand flies hundreds of times. But no, they just needed a romantic dinner filmed with Ryan. “
She adds that she spent a lot of time in the hospital “because she was on IV fluids because of the inflammation from the allergic reactions I had”. She says producers “are unwilling to pay for all of my medical expenses”. She closes with the lawsuit. “My attorney took legal action today … stay tuned!”
MTO News has not been able to confirm whether Stephanie actually filed a lawsuit, but it may.
Here is the video where Stephanie talks about the alleged rape:
Lying about the use of protection during sex is known as “sheathing” and is illegal in a number of states in the United States. Either way, you can definitely sue someone for it.
There is currently a bill in California making removing a condom without consent a sexual offense with a punishable offense punishable by prison. Unfortunately, the covering does not break the law in Belize, where the alleged rape took place.
